With this latest version of the popular virtualization service, VMware is adding a bunch of new features. Among them is support for Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0. You may know this as one of the mandatory component requirements for PCs to be able to run Windows 11. That means with support for TPM 2.0, VMware Workstation 17.0 Pro officially supports Windows 11. Of course, there was a workaround before but this is now an official integration where Windows 11 is available as a guest OS. Elsewhere in this release, there is support for RHEL 9, Debian 11.x, Ubuntu 22.04, and Windows Server 2022.
