Xbox Game Pass and E3 date change
Phil Spencer covered a big variety of subjects during the podcast, from the new Xbox Game Pass to why Microsoft decided to change the date of its press event to Sunday, June 11. Here is a list of important subjects Spencer talked about on the podcast:
Xbox Game Pass has been in the works for 2-3 years Microsoft changed the date for its E3 press event to Sunday in order to have more time to elaborate on everything it will present Project Scorpio will have a different design but will still be part of the Xbox “family” looks-wise Microsoft finding balance in the system of Project Scorpio will allow developers to get more “out of the hardware”. How they choose to use that extra capability in the platform, is up to the developers VR is still an area for innovation and growth. Windows is the right place for that to happen, at the moment. VR is important for Project Scorpio, but is not a top priority for now.
